After a long hiatus, the Revolver Project is back online at a new server. Big thanks to peroty for the webspace. A lot of things have happened in my life to prevent there being much progress in the way of music. For starters, I made a big move from Cleveland, OH to Perth, WA (Australia) so that I can be with my
wife. We were married on November 1st, 2006. It took me a long time to get equipment together so I could write music at my leisure, and I haven't very much contact with other bandmates.
RVR has always been my personal project, and I don't plan to discontinue it anytime soon. Anyways, I could ramble plenty, but I'll get to the point.
New music is once again in the works, and there will be a few new tracks that weren't previously in the library. Check 'em out now.

Quick stop to toss some w0rdz atcha. You can catch me rambling like an ass, along with a quick clip of the Brinstar mix in the 24th VGDJ Podcast.
The what?
Just listen here, ladies and gents: http://www.vgdj.net The entry, once again, that you seek happens to be dated MONDAY NOVEMBER 7th, 2005. Large file, so you dial-up folks might want to be wary.

Back again (oh so soon) with another announcement. The Revolver Project's interpretation of the Brinstar Red Soil theme from the SNES game Super Metroid has gone up with an editorial by DJ Pretzel over at OCRemix.org. Go ahead and check out what he and others have had to say about the track at http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01420/. I personally am very pleased about the write up - references/comparisons to KMFDM and WaxTrax!Records are always welcome.
Music aside, I'd like to announce this as a near-final version of our official banner. Anyone looking to put up a link can feel free as such to use that for an image (If you need a resize, please email me at Psytronic@sbcglobal.net, and I'll quite happily do a particular version of the banner just for your site). If you want us to link back, drop me a line about it. I'll set something up, provided your site isn't particularily horrible.
Also, we have changed over to a division of our host site's message board. This new forum is accessible by the standard menu link to your left. Or your right, if you're upside down or something. What, do I have to tell you when to breathe, too?

It might not sound like much in writing, but a lot has happened with the band since the last update. We have managed to perfect our sound on both Last Innocence(if you didn't catch the demo version of this track, grab it in the music section), and Unforgiven(sorry folks-unreleased, unless you personally ask me reeaaal nicely). We might be seeing one or two changes in the roster in the future (everyone in the band would love a live drummer - but we need a sample-driven electronic kit to pull off the stuff we do properly), but none of that's certain. We have 4 new tracks in demo format complete now since the initial free album release (to very little fanfare, I can't help be ridiculously modest about the "album", and its cumulative spanning of nearly 2 years of single concepts - spitting in the face of genre being my proudest accomplishment with those tracks) - I cannot stress well enough that those tracks are free to take and give out to your friends or whomever you think might like them.
As far as the site design is concerned, we've got some ideas for a Flash site, and the new stuff you see up is just a temporary makeover. Music comes first, everything else second. All in all, I think this little band is in store for quite the whirlwind of happenings in the somewhat near future.

Back with a new track this week. It's called "the Undreaming"
You'll find it in the music index. Expect more very soon.
The band is now considering an official webdesign/image.. We're not looking to be so pretentious as many acts that are more image than music, but we want to be able to provide something to look at while you're listening. Back with more in time.

Well, I know it's been a long time since our last update, but it comes with good news and another track. In the remix directory, you may find a remix that I recently completed of the song "The Hand That Feeds" (THTF for short) by Nine Inch Nails. Download, hopefully enjoy.
Aside from the remix, news is like this: This weekend we begin coordinating our live performance to make sure we have a proper stage presence, and know how to play our own material properly. It's probably going to take a lot of effort to tie it all in, considering the newer material's level of detail. Wish us luck. ...Oh, and there is an abundance of finished audio which we will begin to distribute most likely at the upcoming show at the Agora featuring The Faint. Cheers.

The "Flowers for Lucretia- Eternal Autumn" cover/versus track is now available in the Music directory. My dear friend Chad didn't like his song as much as I did, but I wanted to do my own version of it.. I never finished it, until now. I decided to do a 'versus' track, with his vocals finishing the track. Hope you like it. I do, although it makes me sad to listen to it. I really don't want Chad to rest in peace. I want him to get the hell back up, and kick everyone's ass like he's supposed to.

I really don't know quite what I want to say. A good friend of mine by the name of Chad Miller was found murdered November 29th, and I just heard about it yesterday evening. He was one of the coolest people I've ever known, and a genuine hellraiser. I really hope they catch the bastard responsible for this. I've remixed a good handful of his songs in the past, and you'll be able to find the 2 most recent remixes in the music directory.

Halfway into September, and I've got something to show for it. First off, the final mix of the MetalMan(dominator) remix is up on the music page. Just for comparison, the draft mix is still available for download. Also available for download are 3 tracks off the sampler we handed out way back in the spring and throughout this summer. "Ego Tripping" is being held back for extended mixing, and a remix of the Brinstar Red Soil area's theme from Super Metroid is in the works along with some original material. Tentative track titles are "Beautiful Anomaly" and "Over the Edge", with an as-yet unnamed track in the works. So, get a good look at the new layout? I hope you like it. On your left you'll find two new links: the Merchandise page and the Visuals page. The Merch page is run on Cafepress.com, and has a wide variety of gear with Revolver Project logos a plenty. The Visuals page only currently has a handful of images available for download, but I'm sure that will change in the near future. So, checkout the new crap and enjoy my favorite time of the year.

August 24, 2004
Well, here we are. Late August, and Ty hasn't done a damn thing, right? That changed just a moment ago when I changed the site layout, and setup the media page. I, unfortunately, suffered from a little bit of blockage in the mind. Thank whoever you like that's over with. All honors due to this new gem: The Metal Man Dominator Mix, available for download now on our media page. So use the link I just supplied or the button to your left, and get yourself a new dance tune to listen to!

I've felt obligated to get off my ass (or rather, on my ass) and do something.. The links page can now be reached through the 'exit' button, and the Forum has received a much-needed face lift. MP3s of the sampler will be up very soon (and this time I mean it), since Zack has agreed to host the files. Thank you very much for hosting this site, and all my other crap, Zack. It means a lot.

We burned and handed out approximately 30 sampler discs. Anyone who might have gotten the site's address off of the sampler disc, thank you for showing your interest. The biography will go up tonight. Those of you who might be looking for more music: new tracks will be finished soon, and will have a variety of feelings to them. Anyone who wishes to contact the band can reach us at the address Psytronic@sbcglobal.net

The Equipment Page is now up. Pictures will be coming up sometime soon, as well as the Biography section. And once again, I need sleep... Well, I'm out.

I just finished the beta mix of a new demo track. It's called surfacing. Got an interesting feeling to it. I'll accredit that to the new synth I downloaded, I suppose. The demo version of Vanguard by reFX
It's got some awesome presets, although I'm not one to use presets. I'll have the new track downloadable sometime this week. Ack.. need sleep...

Okay, the rest of the site will be established this weekend when other members of the band are here to give their own info.
The site is now officially open to the public. Woohoo.

May 4, 2004
The site layout is now complete. All links, with the exception of the homepage and the forums, are nonfunctional at the moment. Band members may use the forums to communicate on the subject of where and when we meet and do music or anything else. Everyone else can feel free to register and post about whatever they want, as long as they don't use it as a livejournal or something equally as retarded.

This is the first entry to the new Revolver Project site, and I don't really feel like saying much. Song production is underway, and some finished demo tracks will be made downloadable soon enough.
